The Wharfedale Super Denton, part of the Heritage range, modernizes classic designs with contemporary technology, whilst staying true to Wharfedale’s rich heritage. Taking inspiration from predecessors, the Super Denton embodies both traditional aesthetics and advanced performance, with a hand-veneered cabinet and a three-way driver configuration for an optimal listening experience.

The speakers distinguish themselves with a high-quality 165mm woofer that, matched to the cabinet, enables bass extension up to 40 Hz – remarkable for its compact size. This driver delivers bass with impressive definition, while the 50mm midrange unit ensures a seamless transition between fundamental and harmonic tones. The 25mm tweeter provides sonic detail and air at high frequencies, with an advanced crossover network that ensures distortion-free performance.

The Super Denton’s cabinet is reinforced with carefully placed bracing and internally damped with layers of long fibers, while the midrange and treble units each have their own separate rear enclosures. The cabinet disperses panel resonances to avoid a single, audible resonant frequency. An inner layer of high-quality chipboard is connected to an outer layer of MDF via a special adhesive with resonance-damping properties. All in all, the Super Denton embodies a first-class loudspeaker.
